The volume recognised in the water accounting statements (0 ML) represents stock and domestic groundwater allocations remaining for groundwater management units in the Melbourne region the end of 2009–10. Stock and domestic entitlements are not required to be metered in Victoria. The volume of groundwater extraction was assumed to be equal to the full entitlement.
