Adelaide
4.2 Irrigation scheme inter-region claim on water

Supporting information

Barossa Infrastructure Limited (BIL) is the only irrigation scheme in the Adelaide region that owns a Class 3 water access entitlement (WAE) to shares in the River Murray consumptive pool for South Australia. River Murray water is transferred to BIL via SA Water infrastructure. More details regarding the entitlement can be found in the Water Allocation Plan for the River Murray Prescribed Watercourse.
