  • Annual rainfall in the Border Rivers region during 2023–24 was average compared the previous two years which were above average.
  • Total storage volume decreased for the second year ending the reporting period at 57.2% full, a decrease of 37.3% from on 30 June 2023 volumes.
  • Water taken from surface water resources for consumptive use in the region was 456 GL, approximately 72% more than last year.
