The volume recognised in the Statement of Water Assets and Water Liabilities (141,922 ML) represents the volume of groundwater allocation remaining for these licence entitlements at the end of the reporting period (30 June 2010).

The total allocation remaining on 30 June 2010 for lumped holder entitlements is relatively large compared to that for public water scheme supply (see line item 9.1.3.4). This is because there are many lumped holder entitlements within the Perth region, all with different licence anniversary dates (in general, the water management year commences at the time of licence approval).
