This line item reflects the allocation/claim for the water distribution system store associated with industrial and commercial entitlement holders. Line item 25.1.9.3 reflects the liability to the connected surface water store from that allocation.
The volumetric value for the allocation/claim from regulated entitlements for industrial and commercial holders for 2009–10 is 25,000 ML. This value is based on Delta Electricity’s entitlements stated in the Water Management Licence and an assumed allocation of 100% at the beginning of 2009–10.
As stated in the Water Management Licence, Delta Electricity is entitled to take and use up to 23,000 ML/year from the Coxs River water source. In the event that Delta Electricity’s supplies from the Fish River Water Supply Scheme are reduced by 30% or more, Delta Electricity is entitled to obtain an additional 2,000 ML/year from the Coxs River water source. Accordingly, the 2009–10 entitlement from the Coxs River water source was 25,000 ML.
