Supporting Information

The volumetric value for the line item for the 2010–11 year was 12,512,627 ML. The line item includes surface water entitlement or other arrangement that may produce a surface water liability. For the Murray–Darling Basin (MDB) region, the line item includes surface water access entitlements that give access to regulated flow for non-urban and urban purposes. 

The following table presents summarised information for the line item on water resource plan (WRP) area basis. Subsequent tables provide breakdown information of entitlements separately for non-urban and urban purposes on sustainable diversion limit (SDL) area basis.

This line item corresponds to line items listed in the following table and reported in the 2010 Account. In the 2011 Account, the following change was made that caused the 2009–10 year value to be restated:

  • Presentation and classification of the line items (regrouping) has changed since the 2010 Account; 34,690 ML included as entitlements from unregulated flows for Wimmera–Avoca in the 2010 Account was considered as entitlements for allocation diversion for the 2011 Account.

The changes and their respective values are detailed in the following table.
