14.1 Adjustment and forfeiture of groundwater allocation

The volume reported (23,515 ML) represents the volume of unused allocated groundwater that was not permitted to be carried over at 30 June 2013 and was therefore forfeited. Carry-over of unused allocations is subject to rules detailed in the relevant water allocation plans.

Method
The volume of water forfeited at the end of the 2012–13 year was calculated as summarised in the table below.
