| Lineage | The gridded data were generated using the Barnes 2-D meteorological analysis. The gridpoint resolution of the data is 0.25 degrees (approximately 25km). Approximately 300 stations were used in the analysis and all station data underwent a high degree of quality control before analysis. |
| Positional Accuracy | The observational (station) data on which the analyses were based have an associated accuracy of the order of 0.01 degrees (approximately 1km) or better. |
