Regional Water Balance: Initial Methods Review 2009
From 2010, the Bureau of Meteorology will produce annual National Water Resources Assessments and an annual National Water Account. These investigations require evaluation of annual water flows and storage in regional catchment water balances.
The Regional Water Balance: Initial Methods Review 2009 (Methods Review) outlines the water balance framework underlying the generation of these water accounts and assessments. The Methods Review evaluates candidate methods to populate each water balance component, with consideration to data being supplied under the Water Regulations 2008.
