The Water Regulations were amended on 10 May 2012. The changes do not take effect until 5 July 2012. Until that date, when referring to provisions of the regulations, our website will include two references:
– the first reference will be to the current provision in the regulations
– the second reference in red will be the relevant provision in the amended regulations
For the purposes of Regulations 7.13 and 7.14 (after the amendment: Regulations 7.04 and 7.06), the Commercially Sensitive Sites document lists the names of sites from which water information can, for reasons of commercial sensitivity, be provided later than the time specified in the Regulations. These sites are limited to those of organisations that are listed in Category C (hydroelectricity generators).
