Australian Groundwater Explorer

The Australian Groundwater Explorer provides access to a wide range of groundwater data, including more than 870 000 bore locations, bore logs, groundwater levels, salinity, groundwater management areas and landscape characteristics. The application allows you to visualise and analyse groundwater information within an area of interest. Datasets can be downloaded.

The Explorer does not require specialised software, and includes extra data not contained in the National Groundwater Information System, which is used by GIS specialists.
